Zeno's paradox [′zē·nōz ′par·ə‚däks]
(mathematics)
An erroneous group of paradoxes dealing with motion; the most famous one concerns two objects, one chasing the other which has a given head start, where the chasing one moves faster yet seemingly never catches the other.
