collections of materials and documents on the his-tory of 19th-century literature, art, and social thought.

Issued in eight volumes (vols. 1–6, 1932–36; vols. 8–9, 1950–51; vol. 7 did not come out),Zven’ia was prepared and edited by the State Literary Museum.

Members of the editorial board included V. D. BonchBruevich, A. V. Lunacharskii, and B. P. Koz’min. Zvenia printed archival materials and individual research articles and notes, primarily on topics of literary history. Much space is devoted to materials concerning A. S. Pushkin, A. I. Herzen, N. P. Ogarev, N. G. Chernyshevskii, N. A. Nekrasov, F. M. Dostoevsky, L. N. Tolstoy, and M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin. There are introductions and commentaries to the materials.
