C4H9CH(C2H5)COOH A liquid that is slightly soluble in water, boils at 226.9°C, and has a mild odor; used as an intermediate to make metallic salts for paint and varnish driers, esters for plasticizers, and light metal salts for conversion of some oils to grease.
