Abinsk

 

city (until 1936 the settlement Abinskii), center of Abinsk Raion, Krasnodar Krai, RSFSR, with a population of 23,000 (1968). The city has the Abinskaia railroad station, located 75 km southwest of Krasnodar. Its industries include a winery, a cannery, a dairy plant, a brick factory, and a wood and furniture-making enterprise.
