Ackoff, Russell L.
Ackoff, Russell L. (Lincoln)
(1919– ) systems theorist; born in Philadelphia. He taught at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School (1964–86), consulted to major corporations, and founded the Institute for Interactive Management (1986). His many publications on operations research and corporate and economic planning include The Management of Change (1970).
