Location:36 miles west of Portsmouth, in the southeast corner of the state.
Facilities:Picnic areas, picnic shelters, boat ramps, hiking trail.
Activities:Fishing, boating (electric motors only), hiking.
Special Features:Located between the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and glaciated land in an area known as the Bluegrass Region, park has an abundance of plant species. This area was once inhabited by prehistoric and mound-building cultures; Serpent Mound is found north of the park.
