(AREV) A database development environment for personal computers available from Revelation Software since 1982. Originally based on the PICK operating system, there are over one million users worldwide in 1996.

Advanced Revelation

A DOS application development system from Revelation Software, Inc., Westwood, NJ (www.revelation.com). It includes the R/BASIC programming language and supports SQL, DB2, Oracle and other databases. The Windows counterpart is OpenInsight for Workgroups and uses the BASIC+ language.
