Adzharistskali

Adzharistskali
(Acharistskali), a river in the Adzhar ASSR; a right tributary of the Chorokh River. It is 90 km long; its basin is 1,540 sq km in area. The Adzharistskali rises in the Arsiian Range and flows in a narrow deep valley, becoming broader at its mouth. It is fed by a mixture of sources, with rainwater predominating. There are flash floods throughout the year. A hydroelectric power plant is located on the Adzharistskali.
