Several isolated osteoderms with a raised anterior 'bar' and radiating ornamentation are typical of Aetosauria, a group of heavily armoured, omnivorous or herbivorous pseudosuchians from the Late Triassic.
In the Aetosauria, the manus appears relatively larger, although confusion concerning the association of the best manus and pes specimens (see Lucas and Heckert 2011) prevents definitive assessment.
