People's Choice Award: Jaime Garbriel, BS Chemistry, Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), studied how
agricultural by-products can be harnessed in making printed electronic applications as components for technological devices.
Which regard to the main feed source for the cattle, in general finishing cattle production is common in systems based on grain and/or
agricultural by-products such as cassava chip, cassava pulp, and corn silage.
Compostable high-performance and multi-layer materials from renewable materials,
agricultural by-products, and food waste, as well as a coating with silicate and biopolymers - all for food packaging and all fully compostable.
BioPouch is powered by newest NANO VpCI[R] technology, primarily made from
agricultural by-products. NANO-VpCI's emit from the pouch and saturate the enclosure via diffusion, filling all void spaces and recessed areas with protective vapor molecules.
In Nigeria like any other developing nations, the demand for activated carbon (AC), is met through importation at a very high cost and depletion of foreign reserve, whereas vast quantities of
agricultural by-products which can be used for its production are generated annually.
The EBRD also works to reduce the agricultural sector's carbon footprint, helping to lower greenhouse gas emissions, use energy and water more efficiently, reduce food loss and waste and make better use of
agricultural by-products.
It ranges from
agricultural by-products such as sugarcane waste, grain husks, palm oil waste and fruit pulp, animal by-products such as manure and slaughterhouse waste, to even municipal wastes such as food waste, sewage sludge etc.
It also marks a milestone in the strategic deployment of the group's
agricultural by-products trading business, as well as further strengthening the group's online finance industry chain, through transforming the industry from a traditional wholesale market to an e-commerce platform comprising O2O, B2B and C2C.
Specifically, they describe biopolymers as resins for the fabrication of films and nanocomposites, vegetable oil-based resins and composites, soy and starch-based resins, sustainable additives, cellulosic fibers, the use of feathers in textile applications, natural fiber composites from
agricultural by-products, polysaccharide composites, green composites using bamboo, renewable biobased composites for civil engineering applications, natural fiber composites and their hollow core panels, the physical and chemical properties of alkali-activated fly ash materials, the mechanical properties of natural fiber composites, and stochastic processes in modeling the strength of composites.
It is powered by the newest Nano-VpCI technology, primarily made from
agricultural by-products, and has been described as quick and super easy to use, there being no special equipment for application.
Nacar added, "We wanted to show how important salt is in our everyday life." Salt is also used widely in industrial and
agricultural by-products, not just for human consumption.
