Pearce, who was global marketing director at
Ahern Companies before being promoted to VP, reports directly to Don
Ahern and develops and delivers global marketing strategies for all brands within the
Ahern family of companies.
Mr
Ahern, who served as Taoiseach from 1997 to 2008, played a key role in the talks that led to the Good Friday Agreement.
Beyond his work there,
Ahern spent a good deal of time as a volunteer for various local organizations.
When contacted by the Irish Sunday Mirror, Mr
Ahern's former party said they would not comment on the incident.

Ahern. He properly acknowledges situations in which judgment should have been better or that produced mediocre results.
Ahern, 35, was found guilty of conspiring to commit a corrupt or fraudulent practice in relation to the laying of five horses between September 2010 and February 2011.

The former Dublin City councillor said
Ahern had not been found to be corrupt - and claimed his pal was only coming under fire from Fianna Fail because of media presure.
Ahern was accused of not telling the truth by the Mahon Tribunal, who examined his past finances.
