Ak-Bulak

 

urban-type settlement in Tiup Raion, Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic. Located in the northeastern part of the Issyk-Kul’ basin, 176 km northeast of the Rybach’e railroad station, on the Rybach’e-Przheval’sk highway. The population was 2,900 in 1968. The Kurmentinskii cement factory is located in Ak-Bulak.

The water well was constructed on the Ak-Bulak site of the Ak-Korgon village council in Ala-Buka district of the Jalal-Abad region, the town administration said.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations said the hail struck Ak-Bulak village of Kyrgyz-Ata rural municipality.
