Aksakovo Municipality in Varna, as well as the nearby village of Kranevo (located some 23 km from Varna) have declared a state of emergency.The Mayor of Kranevo, which also attracts a lot of tourists, has told Focus News Agency the situation there is "particularly bad".
The emergency situations were declared on Thursday but remained in force Friday morning in the northeastern city of Shumen as well as in a number of smaller municipalities a Isperih, Samuil, Suvorovo, Dolni Chiflik, Valch Dol, Byala, Dalgopol,
Aksakovo, Vetren, Avren, and Ruen a located in the districts of Razgrad, Varna, and Burgas.
