Albanian Telegraph Agency (ATA)

 

the state information agency of the People’s Republic of Albania, founded in 1944. Its main offices are inTirana, but there is a network of correspondents in other cities. ATA is tied to 12 foreign agencies by agreements made in 1968 on the exchange and dissemination of news.
