Amzia

 

an urban-type settlement in the Bashkir ASSR, situated in the far northwest of the republic, on the left bank of the Bui River (a tributary of the Kama). The town, with a population of 4,900 (1967), is a railroad station on the Kazan-Sverdlovsk line. Industry consists of a wood-chemical plant and a lumber-processing plant.
