LG and Google have collaborated since the 2009 launch of the first Android phone from LG, based on Android 1.5 Cupcake.
Their product works perfectly on all the Android systems from the older phones with Android 1.5 to the brand new Android 5 Lollipop.
This edition has been updated to incorporate Android 1.5 (Cupcake) and Android 1.6 (Donut) and includes new appendixes on creating widgets and selling applications in the Android Market.
Researchers at the Open Source Computer Emergency Response Team (oCERT) disclosed two denial-of-service vulnerabilities in Google Inc.'s Android 1.5 mobile phone platform, both of which have already been patched by the vendor.<p>One of the vulnerabilities stems from Android's handling of SMS messages, according to an advisory released by oCERT earlier this week.
The application has been developed in Eclipse environment using Google Android sdk1.5 which includes a compliant Android 1.5 library and system image with a set of development applications.
Other older Android versions, Android 2.2 Froyo is at 10.3 percent, Android 2.1 Eclair with 2.7 percent, Android 1.6 Donut with 0.3 percent and Android 1.5 Cupcake at 0.1 percent.
Also, Handy Backup for Android 1.5 has more reliable and convenient system of backup task management: now the users can easily modify their tasks, and restore them after a factory reset, as all application settings and tasks are automatically backed up to SD card.
