Location:In Jo Daviess County, near the Wisconsin border in the extreme northwest corner of Illinois, about 2.5 hours west of Chicago.
Facilities:45 Class C campsites, 2 Class C campsites (é), youth campground, 4 picnic areas, 3 picnic shelters (2 @di), trails.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, hunting.
Special Features:Centuries of erosion helped create the park's landscape of massive limestone cliffs, deep ravines, and timbered hills. The park contains such wildlife as deer, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, eagles, hawks, and 47 varieties of birds. More than 165 varieties of flowers can be seen throughout the park.
