Arcaro, Eddie

Arcaro, (George Edward) Eddie

(1916–  ) jockey; born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a two-time Triple Crown winner with Whirlaway (1941) and Citation (1948), and five-time winner of the Kentucky Derby. During his 31-year career ending in 1962, he rode 4,779 winners.
