Asatiani, Lado (Vladimir) Mekievich

 

Born 1917; died 1943. Soviet Georgian poet.

Asatiani graduated from the Kutaisi Pedagogical Institute. His only works, the Collection of Poems (1940) and the narrative poems Aspindza, Battle in Basiani, and Colchis (1940), left a considerable mark on Georgian poetry.
