Autonomy in Linked Control Systems
The following article is from The Great Soviet Encyclopedia (1979). It might be outdated or ideologically biased.
Autonomy in Linked Control Systems
the independence of any one of a set of controlled factors from variations in the remaining controlled factors. For satisfaction of the conditions of such autonomy, cross-links are established among the controllers of the system. This makes possible the stabilization of the controlled factors in case of a change in one of them, in spite of the fact that all of the factors are interconnected by the controlled unit.
