BYOA

(1) (Build Your Own App) User-created applications. BYOA relies on predefined options that can be selected from a menu by the user to create a custom process. The user may also be able to include some program logic similar to the macros that can be created for spreadsheets. Years ago, report generators were the first applications programmed by menu. See report writer.
