Bai-Taiga

 

a mountain massif in western Tuva ASSR, RSFSR. It is located on the right bank of the Alash River (a left tributary of the Khemchik). It has elevations of up to 3,129 m and is composed primarily of granite. The slopes are covered with larch forests; on the peaks are alluvial rocks and high-mountain tundra.
