Bean Harvester

a mounted machine for the windrow harvesting of bush beans sown with interrow spaces of 45 or 60 cm. A bean harvester is used with a tractor having a tractive force of 0.6 ton-force.

A puller, which is suspended from the back of the tractor, picks beans from four rows simultaneously. A pickup attachment, which is mounted on the front of the tractor, gathers up the picked stalks and places them in a windrow. The productivity of a bean harvester can be as high as 0.9 hectare per hour. A tractor driver operates the machine.
