Beau, Louis Victor

Beau, Louis Victor

(1895–1986) aviator; born in New York City. An air service veteran of the Western Front in World War I, he commanded the Mediterranean Air Transport Service during World War II. After the war, he became national commander of the Civil Air Patrol, the civilian auxiliary of the air force.
