Bekovo
an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Bekovo Raion, Penza Oblast, RSFSR, on the right bank of the Khoper River. It is the terminal railroad station of the branch from the Rtishchevo-Tambov line. Population, 4,200 (1968). A creamery is located in Bekovo.
