Bellingshausen Shelf Glacier

 

a glacier located in the eastern part of Princess Martha Coast in eastern Antarctica. It extends in a narrow peninsula for almost 100 km into the South Sea. The end of the glacier periodically breaks off as it moves into the sea. It is named in honor of F. F. Bellingshausen. Its southern end is attached to the Fimbulisen shelf glacier.
