Berezino

 

a city (since 1968); administrative center of Berezino Raion, Minsk Oblast, Byelorussian SSR, on the Berezino River (Dnieper basin), 50 km from the Grodzianka railroad station. Population, 6,400 (1968). There is a peat-briquette factory and a distillery.
