Bibliotekar’

 

(The Librarian), a monthly journal on the problems of theory and practice in library work. It is an organ of the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR and is published in Moscow. This journal was founded in 1923 upon N. K. Krupskaia’s initiative and was entitled Krasnyi bibliotekar’. From 1941 to 1946 it was not published, but it was revived in 1946 under the title Bibliotekar’. As of 1970 the journal had a circulation of more than 150,000.
