Biiurgun

 

(Anabasis salsa), a semishrub 5–25 cm high of the family Chenopodiaceae, one of the species of anabasis. It is very widely distributed in the USSR in saline soils in semideserts and deserts from southern Saratov Oblast to Mongolia, occupying large areas in many places. It is an important fodder crop, especially for camels.
