Blizhnepesochnoe
urban-type settlement in Vyksa Raion, Gorky Oblast, RSFSR. Located 33 km south of the Navashino railroad station (on the Murom-Arzamas line) and 5 km from the town of Vyksa, to which it is connected by a bus route. Population, 6,400 (1968). The population works at enterprises in the town of Vyksa. Blizhnepesochnoe was organized in 1960 by merging the settled points of Blizhnepesochnoe and Blizhnechernaia.
