Borovka

Borovka

 

a river in Orenburg Oblast, RSFSR; a right tributary of the Samara (Volga basin). It is 167 km long, drains a basin of 2,140 sq km, and rises from the Obshchii Syrt Plateau, flowing westward with many twists and turns. It is fed primarily by snow. The Buzuluk evergreen forest is located in the basin of the Borovka.
