Borzna

 

a city; the administrative center of Borzna Raion, Chernigov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Borzna River (Dnieper River basin), 14 km from the Doch’ railroad station. Population, 12,100 (1968). Borzna has two brickyards, a dairy, and a sovkhoz-technicum. The town was founded in the 16th century.
