Location:On Blue Mountain in Middle Paxton and Lower Paxton townships in south central portion of the state.
Facilities:Hiking trails (11 miles), cross-country ski trails.
Activities:Hiking, cross-country skiing, hunting, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Large trees of numerous species are scattered throughout the area, providing habitat for deep forest birds, especially warblers. A large field of butterfly weed blooms in late July and early August, attracting many butterflies.
