The result showed that the promoter sequence of CMYB1 contained many putative plant hormone-related cis-acting elements, such as ABA-responsive element (ABRE), auxin response element (AuxRE), brassinosteroid (BR) response element (BRRE), and ethylene response element factors (EREF), indicating that CMYB1 might be a central crosstalk of various plant hormones regulating plant growth and development.
