Busch lemniscate
[¦bu̇sh lem′nis·kət] (meteorology)
The locus in the sky, or on a diagrammatic representation thereof, of all points at which the plane of polarization of diffuse sky radiation is inclined 45° to the vertical; a polarization isocline. Also known as neutral line.
