Buzguncha

Buzguncha
yellowish rosy galls (tumors) on the leaves and ovaries of true pistachios formed as a result of lice stings. The galls are up to 3 cm long. Buzguncha contain 25-50 percent tannin and are used for medical and technological purposes. The local population uses buzguncha to decorate fabrics and to tan hides.
