CDE Help Hypertext

CDE Help Hypertext

One of the most valuable features of CDE is being able to jump to the definition of a term by just clicking or highlighting words ANYWHERE in the text window. Unlike Web pages coded in HTML, our "virtual hypertext" eliminates the need for predefined links in the text. Since technical definitions often contain other technical terms, there is no need for an abundance of underlined links that distract the reader (see overlinking).

URLs Are Live Links
website addresses (URLs) are rendered as live links, also without being underlined. To go to a website, just click any reference that begins with www. or http://. For example, click on www.computerlanguage.com to go to The Computer Language Company's website.
