Cagles Mill Lake
Location:In south central Indiana, midway between Indianapolis and Terre Haute.
Facilities:120 electric and 96 non-electric campsites, campground grocery and
concession (open summers), picnic areas (é), shelters, playgrounds,
playfields, hiking and fitness trails, fishing pier, marina, 2
boat ramps, boat rentals, swimming pool and waterslide (at Lieber SRA),
activity center, basketball court, horseshoe pits.
Activities:Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, water-skiing, hiking,
hunting, fishing trips (é), boat tours, interpretive and recreational
programs.
Special Features:The lake area includes Cataract Falls State Recreation Area and Lieber State
Recreation Area. Cataract Falls, the largest waterfall in the state,
are at the lake's headwaters.
