Campanus System

A Campanus system of house division (advanced by Giovanni Campano, a thirteenth-century mathematician-astrologer) is generated by equally dividing the prime vertical. By the twentieth century, the system had fallen into disuse, but was partially revived as a result of the advocacy of Dane Rudhyar.
