Catarrh of the Respiratory Tract
an acute inflammatory disease involving the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract (rhinitis, pharyngitis, laryngotracheitis, bronchitis). Respiratory catarrh may be combined with inflammation of the conjunctiva (conjunctivitis) or lungs (pneumonia).
