Location:In Prince George and Charles counties, 25 miles south of Washington, DC. Reached via Cedarville Road off US 301.
Facilities:Family camping sites (April 29-Sept 6), youth group camping area, picnic area, 2 pavilions, comfort stations (é), 4-acre stocked pond, multi-use trails (19.5 miles).
Activities:Camping, freshwater fishing, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, hunting, special programs.
Special Features:A visitor center at the state's only warm-water fish hatchery is open during the summer. The headwaters of the Zekiah Swamp are located in Cedarville, and the swamp is a haven for wildlife.
