Chegdomyn
an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Verkhniaia Bureia Raion, Khabarovsk Krai, RSFSR. Situated on the left bank of the Chegdomyn River of the Amur basin, the settlement is the terminus of a railroad branch line that runs from the Izvestkovaia station. Chegdomyn has a sausage factory, a brickyard, and two logging and timber distribution establishments; the Urgalles Production Association is also located in the settlement. Hard coal is mined in the area.
