Location:Along PA 44 in Potter County, in the north central portion of the state.
Facilities:30 class B campsites, picnic area, picnic pavilions, bike trail, historic site.
Activities:Camping, hiking, mountain biking, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park is named for the large stands of native black cherry trees it contains. For amateur astronomers, the park offers some of the darkest night skies in the state and a 360-degree view. An annual woodsmen's show in August features lumberjack contests in tree-felling, log rolling, chopping, and chainsaw events.
