Location:Adjacent to MD 50 at the Frederick C Malkus Bridge near Cambridge. A 0.5-mile pier extends south from Talbot County and a 0.75-mile pier extends north from Dorchester County.
Facilities:Lighted fishing piers (é).
Activities:Saltwater fishing and crabbing; also picnicking, bicycling, walking, jogging, sunbathing.
Special Features:The piers are the two ends of an old bridge over the Choptank River. The Talbot County side includes 25 acres of land extending upriver from the pier, with a walking path along the Choptank River and Bolingbroke Creek. The piers are open for fishing 24 hours a day year round.
