Chorale saw action in the international competition upon invitation of a
chorale director from Baguio City, who has links in Indonesia.
The choir's most recent performance was Carmina Burana with the Master
Chorale of Saddleback Valley who are joining the choir on their tour of the UK, including the concert with Chester Male Voice Choir at the Town Hall.
"Of all the forms of musical expression, I love
chorale singing best," Briones, who leads the Manila Concert Choir (MCC) as part of the sopranos.

From among the seven groups, the Philippine Normal University
Chorale lorded over the competition and won the grand champion trophy and a cash prize of P60,000; Chorus Vocales Philippines won the first runner-up trophy and a P40,000 cash prize; and Alab Vocal Ensemble won the second runner-up trophy and P25,000 cash prize.

This year marks the 14th annual Williams
Chorale Bacardi Fallon Performing Arts Scholarship Competition for voice or instrumental students.
The
chorale will be led by artistic director and conductor Konstantin Petrossian.
