Colbert, Lester
Colbert, Lester (Lum)
(1905– ) automobile executive; born in Oakwood, Texas. A Harvard-trained lawyer, he practiced briefly in New York before joining Chrysler Corporation as an attorney; in his 30 years there (1933–65), he was president of the Dodge division (1946–51), president and chairman of Chrysler (1950–61), and chairman of Chrysler Corporation of Canada (1961–65).
