Activities:Hiking, bird watching, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing.
Special Features:Park's hilly terrain includes mixed hardwood forests and thickets of wild mountain laurel. The area is a good place to observe spring and fall migrations of songbirds and is also home to great horned owls and redtailed hawks. The park serves as the northern trailhead of the Nassau Suffolk Greenbelt Trail.
