Colton Point State Park

Location:5 miles south of US 6 at Ansonia, in the north central part of the state.
Facilities:25 class B campsites, pit toilets, group tent camp, picnic area, picnic pavilions, hiking trails (4 miles), snowmobile trailhead and trail, playground.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling.
Special Features:Park offers spectacular views of Pine Creek Gorge, Pennsylvania's "Grand Canyon," which is scenic year round but especially so in early October. Hiking trails pass through very rugged terrain near many steep cliffs. The main trail, Turkey Path, descends one mile to the canyon floor.
