Implementations may offer more efficient synchronization methods; for example on some platforms calling glFlush may be sufficient, or synchronization may be implicit within a thread, or there may be vendor-specific extensions that enable placing a fence in the GL command stream and waiting for completion of that fence in the CL
command queue. Note that no synchronization methods other than glFinish are portable between OpenGL implementations at this time."
Intelligent reordering of commands within the drive's internal
command queue helps improve performance of queued workloads by minimizing mechanical positioning latencies on the drive.
This permits the SAN node to clear its write
command queue an order of magnitude faster than if it waited for the data to be written to disk; therefore, more commands can be processed in a given amount of time.
UFS comes with a technology called "
Command Queue" that accelerates the speed of command execution in SSDs thorough a serial interface, boosting data processing speeds compared to the 8-bit parallel-interface-based eMMC standard.
The district and the officer then have to work with the Engineer Branch and the engineer units on post to ensure that our officers are not forgotten and have the opportunity to get in the
command queue. In Fort Worth, we generally expect that officers will work for us for two years, and then we try to get them to a unit for command.
With
command queues around 2 years, we are taking high-performing future commanders who are graduating from the Engineer Captains Career Course and assigning them to the Sidewinders at the National Training Center for a year, where they will be able to observe, train, and learn from the tip of the spear.
