Compression-Refrigeration Unit
a refrigerating unit in which the cooling agent is compressed by a compressor.
A compression-refrigeration unit consists of a refrigerating machine and of the object being cooled, connected by pipes and the auxiliary equipment required to obtain, distribute and utilize the cooling agent. Compression-refrigeration units are classified according to purpose and capacity. They are available in both stationary and mobile models.
